The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Maulden stands on the Greensand Ridge to one side of the village main road, commanding imposing views over the village and surrounding Mid-Bedfordshire countryside.

Its history can be traced back as far as the twelfth century and in the churchyard stands an impressive 17th century octagonal mausoleum and crypt known as the Ailesbury Mausoleum.

In addition to the services taking place on Sundays and throughout the week, the church undertakes a wide range of other weekly, monthly and occasional activities involving our vibrant church family and the local community.
